Cultural Connections

About Me
This site was created to provide an opportunity for my students to link their individual cultures with another culture. My hope is to promote diversity as well as to motivate students to participate in an inquiry based learning activity. Students will view my site as an example of a presentation of cultural information. Reflecting on their own culture, students will develop a question about another world culture that they are interested in investigating. Questions as well as an outline of findings will be posted in a class forum on this site. Each student will be required to provide feedback to at least one other peer. Next, students will work on a visual representation of their findings using tools such as Animoto or Glogster. Finally, students will present their visuals while giving an oral presentation on their findings.
